In this role, I’ve served as an Agile Product Manager on the Card Core Platform, supporting Capital One’s U.S. credit card portfolio. My work has been focused on the Core modernization journey - a company level initiative reimagining Capital One’s products from their foundation. I’ve specifically worked to bring new capabilities to the financial ledger, enabling internal and external customers flexible and intuitive experiences.

At NCR, I enabled global retail and hospitality companies to compete in an evolving digital marketplace with cloud based API products. I simplified customers’ digital interactions and gave end users deeper operational insights across multiple physical location. Serving as an Agile Product Owner, I led a new application from ideation to production launch, as well as worked with mature, production applications across 3 global environments.

During each of my 5 years as a student at Georgia Tech, I worked for The Georgia Tech Parent and Family Program. The Georgia Tech Parent and Family Program is a campus organization that connects families to Georgia Tech through year-round events such as Family Weekend and Sibs Day. In this position, I served a key role in the facilitation of ongoing programmatic efforts for these large scale campus events. I took part in both planning and facilitating events - such as school social hours, football tailgates, and family brunches - for thousands of Georgia Tech families and students. Within the Parent and Family Program, I assumed a larger role through event and activity planning for the other student assistants while also serving as main point of contact outside of the program director.

Going into my last year at Georgia Tech, I worked as a research assistant in Dr. Preet Singh’s lab. As a research assistant, I was a part of the efforts to develop a novel, stable reference electrode for use in molten salts - a simulation for nuclear reactors. I worked with moisture sensitive salts to make electrolytic cells in inert and high temperature environments. In my time at this lab I also tested new materials and developed equipment, such as a furnace, for future experiments.

During my internship with Alcon, I took on a project to investigate and address critical contact lens production flaws - responsible for millions of dollars in production holds. I selected a multi-disciplinary team to prioritize and implement production changes directed at these flaws. My decisions were guided by engineering studies that I designed and conducted. By the end of my term, we implemented several suggested production changes, leading to a 60% decrease in targeted production flaws.

During this internship, I served on the Restaurant Development Team for the Southeast and Atlantic Regions. I took part in coordinating internal and external staff to take new restaurants through the development process between land acquisition and grand opening. Additionally, I served on the Built to Suit Task Force, an initiative to increase new restaurant numbers by decreasing initial construction costs. I participated in frequent team building, leadership, and personal growth activities led by key staff and executives at Chick-fil-A.
