Deputy Director For Cyber
CurrentInformation Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the Office of the Deputy Director for Cyber Security of TASK FORCE 82.Collaborate with Submarine support commands to develop and implement cybersecurity policies and guidance for the Submarine Force.Develop and implement Cybersecurity policy and procedures to ensure protection of critical information systems including Navy Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication (NC3) systems.Ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.Develop policies and procedures for threat and risk assessment, planning, risk management, program management, training, evaluation and communication with senior management.Participate in DoD and DON committees to develop and promote best cybersecurity practices.Serve as the Submarine Force Atlantic Fleet spokesperson on cybersecurity matters.Advise senior submarine force management on risk levels and security posture, cost-benefit analysis of information security programs, policies, processes, and systems.Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensures sound security principles reflect in the organization's vision and goals.
