Delivering and collecting parcels

I previously worked temporarily in the finance department for Treetops Hospice at the Head Office in Risley, I was covering a team member's sick leave until they returned to work, in my time at Treetops, I became sufficient using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and office features. Once a week I and the other members of the finance department had to count all cash collections made from local shops and other fundraising collections from the previous week. This built my cash counting and cash reconciliation skills to a high standard. Aside from cash counting, a large portion of our work focused on the Raiser’s Edge database, on this platform we updated constituents’ records, added gift aid declarations, and updated people’s consents to emails, mail, and SMS updates about events and other Treetops-related news, all while adding gifts and donations onto the database.

I previously worked for Argos as a Responsible colleague/ customer service assistant. I gained interpersonal and teamwork skills, using tills and problem-solving with various issues that customers and colleagues experience. In March 2022 l was chosen as the Well-being representative for our branch. I supported my colleagues and promoted emotional and mental well-being with resources to maintain a positive working environment, which I am immensely proud of. In November 2022, I also became the Great Place to Work representative, which provided me with the opportunity to network with other stores and work alongside my area manager. In December 2023, I became a responsible colleague, otherwise known as a Keyholder. This is the most respected position before the manager, which gave me a great desire to achieve more. I completed my first aid training on Friday 26th January 2024 with Green Cross Global. Managers regularly relied on me, given my flawless attendance record in almost 4 years of employment. Further valuable skills I gained include Information handling & GDPR compliance, cash handling, brand experience & customer retention, sound technical competence, and complaint management.

I previously held a position, working part-time/ casually as a turnstile operator for Nottingham Forest Football Club, to which I dedicated my time from November 2018 to June 2024. In this role, I constantly developed my high level of customer satisfaction skills, due to crowd control, time management, and team spirit. In this industry, I gained a great sense of brand loyalty and passion for success and progression.

I gained invaluable music industry experience with the Hells Angels Events company. I worked behind the scenes of countless live music events in Nottingham, including James Blunt and Jake Bugg @ Motorpoint Arena. My duties were loading in and out of music equipment (Guitars, cables, staging, etc). - aided by heavy lifting. Due to the fast-paced nature of an event, I was always expected to work on a very tight deadline, which I more than handled.
