About Brandon Choo

Brandon Choo is, first and foremost, a literary artist practising in the realms of poetry and prose.His main interests lie in abstract and surrealist literature revolving around romance, nihilism and the human condition. Besides poetry and prose, Brandon also engages in essay-writing on subjects such as art, ontology and socio-political issues (mainly domestic ones). He intends to delve into interdisciplinary art as well, in time to come.In Mar'22, he was accepted into the Creative Non-Fiction course instructed by the Irish writer Rob Doyle under the NTU-NAC Asia Creative Writing Programme.His work is published in New Note Poetry (Autumn Issue, Oct 2022), its first print anthology, and SingPoWriMo Magazine (Issue 10).Besides literature and art, Brandon has also found a passion in wine. He is particularly interested in exploring niche grape varieties and producers of biodynamic and natural wine. He has since sat for and been awarded the WSET Level 2 in Wines (Distinction).
