I am a passionate designer and business owner with a focus in the landscape industry. I always design with creativity, user experience, and attention to detail, while managing with customer service, team morale, and financial growth in mind. I have the capability to perform under pressure. I work well in an agile iterative environment while adapting to project scopes, timelines, and customer needs. My background is in design, business management, customer service, and construction. I have founded a landscape business in two states with three locations where I worked with exceptional clientele, managed an expansive team with surprising morale, and produced record financial growth. The knowledge and experience I have obtained as a business owner has led to a deeper understanding of customer relations, employee retention, financial management, and market advertising. For the past 10+ years, I have researched and studied multi-disciplinary subjects that have shaped my career and led me to where I am now. I graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Landscape Architecture. I have used design and business ownership to understand the importance of market advertising, customer relations, employee management, and business financials. My specialties are in design, graphic market advertising, project analysis, customer/vendor relations, employee morale/retention, project cost estimation, material procurement, contract development, and finance management while my main focus is how we can use appropriate design and proper business management to solve common and elaborate business challenges.
