The Orientation team at Indiana University helps all of the incoming freshman prepare and transition to their first year experiences in college. While being in this role, I had the opportunity to work hands on with students and their parents about all things IU including the campus, academics, social life, among a myriad of other aspects. In addition to these primary roles, I also presented to groups of incoming freshman and curated "new student" pages on the academic platform Canvas.

During my Junior year at Indiana I had the honor to work with Dr. Brian Powell, an esteemed professor in the Sociology department, as one of 3 research assistants who were invited to join his team. I not only gained valuable information about how to conduct research within in the community, but it also enhanced my verbal and written communication skills to an advanced level.

Among the various customer service positions that I have been apart of, being a supervisor at Starbucks was especially rewarding because it gave me the opportunity to work hands on with both my fellow workmates and the customers in an extremely fast paced environment. Learning about the Starbucks culture has allowed me to have critical perspective about how successful business operations are run.

During my time with Paramount Advertising, I learned intricate sales strategies and communication in a business setting. In addition, I was able to build relationships with clients and form long term partnerships.
