As clinic outreach manager for Northern Nevada, I am working to connect young people to the life saving therapy offered at Charlie Health. My role includes educating the community and providers on Charlie Health’s clinically proven virtual Intensive Out Patient (IOP) program. No one should have to wait weeks or months to get the care they need, least of all those in crisis. Charlie Health can get those patients the care they need when they need it. My goal is to make sure EVERYONE knows this is an effective and proven option in our community!

The Preferred Communities (PC) program supports refugee and ORR-eligible populations with challenging needs that require special attention, including those with serious medical conditions, women at risk, and elderly refugees. The majority of refugees find themselves well on the path to economic independence after enrolling in employment programs. However, the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program also resettles a number of extremely vulnerable individuals who need additional assistance to successfully integrate. For these individuals, the Preferred Communities program offers intensive case management to overcome barriers as they acclimate to life in the U.S. and learn to manage the difficulties they face on their own.The Program Coordinator is responsible for identifying, enrolling, and the creation and delivery of a self-sufficiency plan that is tailored to each individual’s situation and barriers, in collaboration with the Program Director and other program aides.
