About Brandon Dickens

I find it hard to write things about me -- and I know I am not the only one. So here we go: It all started when I worked for a small company in college that provided continuing education for architects and engineers to maintain their LED certification. Little did I know, this was the start of my passion for adult learning. Fast forward two years, I moved to Nashville where I worked for Logan's Roadhouse and brought my passion for adult learning to life. Through years of being under a wonderful leader, now mentor, reshaping and branding how learning was facilitated across the company, and understanding the importance of a people-first mindset, I figured out who I was and sharpened my skillset in instructional design. Jumping ahead a few years, I left Logan's for a new opportunity. Postmates taught me how to take a learning and development team and build it from the ground up. I was allowed to continue sharpening my facilitation, design, and leadership skills, which helped me partner with Toptal. At Toptal, I was able to strengthen my leadership and managerial skills, as well as received a certification in PROSCI Change Management. My experiences and learnings in corporate America led me to start my own company, Cooper Consulting & Design. We are focused on developing, designing, and deploying people-centric, engaging learning and development through a variety of multi-media assets. If you have read this far, I appreciate you.
