⮚ Resolved T1, T3, and trunk issues related to routing, capacity, and down hard issues across all Level3 and Century Link acquired networks either in-house or cooperatively with local exchange carriers. ⮚ Engaged in critical 911 operations to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve down hard conditions (loss of redundancy and outages), and call quality issues. ⮚ Performed test calls to verify routing to PSAPs or alternate call routing per outage conditions.⮚ Filed FCC reports for 911 outages and engaged in departmental process for the notification to upper management and continued updates to follow through to resolution. Requested RFOs when trouble was found off-site and kept in-house events teams up to date for company-wide notifications. ⮚ Responsible for remote testing on various network equipment including DAC’s, Sentients, FLM1500, Cisco Cerents, 5E’s, Sonus, DMS250/300/500, ER boxes, and various other equipment native to multiple networks under the Level3/Century Link umbrella.⮚ Isolated trunk issues, cot/tone testing, bouncing cics to restore on‐net, and or working with the lec to re‐establish/unblock/release trunks between end switches.⮚ Reloaded configs via radius servers for all NAS network gear in all markets within the continental United States.⮚ Achieved more efficient alarming working in conjunction with our in-house Devops Real Time Fault Management group, reducing or increasing thresholds and setting limits to hit counts resulting in teamwide ease of workflow and workload.⮚ Accessed a wide array of acquired proprietary company network databases, tools, and documents in the performance of daily duties. Worked closely with next-level support to isolate issues when needed.⮚ Performed updates to process and technical documents.⮚ Analyze network diagrams, clr/dlr, to isolate network issues, oftentimes across multiple hybrid networks.⮚ Provided training to team members and new hires.
