About Brandon Drake, Mpa, Ms

Over twelve years of diverse public sector and non-profit experience within budget development, financial management, human resources, and administration. Served as the Budget Director for the East St. Louis Financial Advisory Authority, a unique state agency that operated under the Illinois Financially Distressed City Law which is similar to Pennsylvania's Act 47. I managed the day to day finances of a distressed municipality that accepted a state bailout and state oversight to avoid bankruptcy. Under my tenure, the city exited state oversight and state control of its finances in 2013.
