I have had a wide-range of industry experience, from my first job at McDonald's to being a security guard to running a landscaping business. After my university studies I discovered my passion for working with youth and disadvantaged groups after volunteering in the Braking the Cycle program. I believe I utilize my diverse range of educational, career and personal experiences to effectively connect with people. My current role has involved a lot of development of existing and new skills which I have found an exciting day to day challenge! I would say learning how to manage and coordinate an ever-changing, ever-growing group of both volunteers and mentors has been the most influential skill that I have developed during my time as program coordinator. Besides developing professionally and taking on bigger roles, my main aspiration is to simply make a positive impact on the lives of others - whether it be big or small - we are all on the same team and sometimes our team mates need a helping hand to get back on their feet.
