I am an A level student with a passion for engineering and project management with a strong desire to learn more about the industry. I am studying physics, mathematics and engineering. My goal is to get a degree apprenticeship at the end of my A levels.I have experience in different programming languages including Python, CAD packages and thrive with practical work whether its the manufacture process or the planning/designing process. I'm always happy and willing to learn new things and will work hard to gain a deeper understanding where necessary. Project management is one of my skills I'm hoping to develop on during my career.For my work experience, I was able to secure a week at Finning (UK) LTD where I was given lots of information about the industry and witnessed the collaboration between different departments. While there, I developed my interpersonal skills and performed plenty of hands-on tasks.As part of my EPQ, I am currently investigating the uses of smartwatch technology in a medical environment including a design of my own. This includes research into the effectiveness of testing for conditions like atrial fibrillation and the potential money losses and gains.My main skills are critical thinking, collaborative problem solving and perseverance, all of which I have developed further during my engineering course while batch manufacturing a product in small groups. My literary skills are also useful for completing documents like risk assessments and communication between group members.With experience as a venue decorator, I have worked collaboratively and effectively against time restraints while developing a clear understanding of stock and its management. I was responsible for the construction of larger equipment and its transport.Outside of school or work, I will normally be in the gym or spending time on a hobby like photography including a website dedicated to my photos.
