Brandon Etheridge is a business executive with a passion for helping organizations and individuals within the sports industry maximize opportunities for commercial growth, while expanding reach and influence through effective fan engagement and leveraging platforms to inspire youth and unite diverse communities. Brandon has extensive experience providing strategic direction to high performing teams, with a strong track record of helping organizations navigate high-profile challenges in constantly-evolving complex corporate, political, and social environments.Brandon works closely with Ravens team leadership to develop organizational business strategy and implement key strategic initiatives. As General Counsel, Brandon is responsible for oversight of all legal matters related to the Baltimore Ravens Limited Partnership, including commercial contracts, sponsorship, licensing, broadcasting agreements, and all employment related matters.Recently, Brandon played a central role in the negotiation of a 15-year extension to the team's lease at M&T Bank Stadium with the Maryland Stadium Authority, and soon after, co-led negotiations for a 15-year extension to the team's stadium naming rights deal with M&T Bank. Prior to securing the extension to the team's lease, Brandon led the Ravens' efforts to support passage of legislation in the Maryland Legislature that paved the way for the authorization of $600 million in public financing for capital improvements to M&T Bank Stadium. Brandon also serves as the Baltimore Ravens’ primary government affairs liaison, maintaining close relationships with the members of the Maryland congressional delegation as well as state and local elected officials. In this capacity, he has been deeply involved with the team’s social justice efforts and initiatives and provided the organization and its players with a platform to strengthen governmental, law enforcement, and community relations. A Maryland native, Brandon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University, where he was also a two-time varsity letterman on the Yale football team. Brandon then attended Harvard Law School, where he earned his J.D. In 2014, Etheridge was named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list as one of the “Sports World’s Brightest Young Stars.” In 2018, Brandon was honored by the Baltimore Business Journal as one of its “40 under 40” honorees.
