I am passionate about working on the cutting-edge of science and engineering innovation. Being able to utilize the fundamental science I've learned in university and apply it towards projects and goals that will benefit others is a purpose that keeps me driven in many of the projects I've enjoyed working on.I approach my projects with a sense of urgency, making the most of my time and experiences. I spent my summers in university going to NSF 'Research Experiences for Undergraduates' where I learned the process of conducting research and also learning to understand the scope and goals of large projects. I spent time in physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and materials engineering research labs in order to gain a variety of experiences so that I could find the work that best suited my interests.I enjoy collaborating with a team but am also capable of working individually to get tasks done. Working in different fields has taught me the value of teamwork and collaboration, whether it be a team of 20 or a team of 2. The team will function most efficiently with good communication, and every individual is able to grow and reach their full potential.
