To assist the Management Accountants and the Senior Accountant in providing all financial support and analysis for the six entities management accounts and functional reports including preparation of all month end journals (prepayments, accruals, income adjustments and adhoc corrections).To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, by effective monitoring, ensuring they are delivered on time and within the agreed timetable. To assist in the regular reviews with the budget holders, information requirements and ensure service delivery is of the quality required for effective management. To assist in preparation of the annual statutory accounts with the appropriate audit schedules and backing information within the agreed timetable and liaising with the auditors as necessary. Responsible for preparing all monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring any issues are resolved.

Responsible for processing Direct Debits, Standing Orders, Bank Giro Credits, Housing Benefit Payments, Allpay and other receipts in a timely manner adhering to department and company policies and procedures.Responsible for the posting of tenant adjustments (e.g. Tenant Refunds, Housing Benefit Overpayments, Completion Monies, Court Costs, Compensation etc.), journal creations and entries to the accounting systems to ensure tenant accounts are accurate and up to date.

Prepare and review service charges across all tenures, including the preparation of service charges estimates, adjustments for actual expenditure and adjustment of annual charges in accordance with statute, tenancy and/or leases, regulation and good practice as appropriate.
