Responsible for managing a $158M operational budget, leading large infrastructure projects, and developing junior executives and managers through mentorship and coaching. Developed and implemented key performance metrics to identify the cause of inefficiencies and challenges in predicting and responding to events and outages. Implemented changes resulting in achieving 99.999% availability for our customers and saving $2M in vendor support costs.

● Led a diverse 159 person team consisting of junior executive, managers, technicians, and local foreign nationals to executed all aspects of 24x7 data center operations including the operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment across nine geographically dispersed data centers, supporting 24x7 services. Managed across each functional area, deep diving into each function to learn and develop team technical/functional level of knowledge as well as soft skills. Full control of budget consisting of $51M for building facilities including forecasting and ensuring accurate re-charging for services. Led the installation of a $2.4M 600kw generator, $4M HVAC system, and numerous smaller projects supporting IT infrastructure. Built a diverse team to train and evaluate 24x7 employees who operate, maintain, and monitor network and server hardware to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.

● Led 68 employees in the operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art information systems to include local and wide area networks, mainframe, mini and microcomputer systems, and associated peripheral devices. Skilled in team building, organizational behavior management, and planning, as well as stringent time management skills to balance workloads in a complex and dynamic overseas environment. Conducted daily coordination with over 30 shipyard and contractor personnel resulting in the correction of 3500 discrepancies which resulted in USS SAN DIEGO being the first ship of the class to complete sea trials with no major issues.

Strong track record of developing talent, and managing performance as I attained 100% promotion and 100% retention. Created, tracked, and controlled a $22M budget for a seven month overhaul to vital ship’s equipment. Strategically planned through use of metrics as it related to personnel hours expended, budget, and time to ensure all milestones were met, and the entire project completion on time.
