Utilized Advanced Design Material tool on Inventor to create conveyor beds for drives, tails, noseovers, intermediates, singulators, side guards, transfer plates, structural welded tube steel, bolted legs and guards etc. This ADM tool stored configurations of 3D custom parts with the intelligence of a part model that can be constrained and copied through Inventor software. Utilized Advanced Design Material tool to coordinate proper location of all conveyors on site while ensuring proper height, length, width, and angle of the conveyor. Utilized Navisworks to detect clash interference of SSI steel and all components that may interfere with flow direction for all conveyors. Horizontal Header sizing (W 3212) was utilized to calculate beam span for overhead conveyors that required over-weight or large packages to ensure proper clearance for egress path/cart pathUtilized Bottom guards to ensure safety protocol for all powered conveyors ranging from 18” to 108” distance from the walk surface to the bottom of the conveyor.Side guard requirements were installed 10” high if the top of the conveyor is below 5’-0” of the boundary of a walk surface. 24” side guards required if conveyor elevation is above 5-0”Utilized Cable rail to ensure proper safety regulations for conveyor elevations 4’-0” or higher. Designed tender chutes to ensure packages were transferred to load/unload areas. Tender chutes were required to have an angle no less than 17 degrees and no greater than 25 degrees to ensure that packaging is directed to maintain a slow speed to prevent damage and injury. Designed platforms for drive, tail, and nose over service areas for elevations greater than 8’-0”Created detail drawing sheets that displayed BOM list, conveyor types, field notes, elevations dimensions, detailed dimensions for fabrication in the field.
