Responsible for drilling out holes in concrete either on roadways or in buildings for additional work to be performed. Responsible for sand blasting the joints in the concrete to ensure that the joint is clean so the sealant will seal properly.Responsible for getting the sealant in cracks in the roadway to ensure the cracks do not expand during the winter months. Responsible for the cleanup and removal of asphalt and concrete to ensure the work area is clean and safe for vehicles and people.

Responsible for the proper inspection and treatment of utility poles to insure they are in good standing / operable condition. Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules. Conduct worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use. Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures.

Responsible for conducting analysis, planning, programming, execution and supervision of battalion operations and training. Devise programs to develop leadership potential among soldiers in lower-level positions.  Monitor training costs and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures. Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures. Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts. Responsible for the operability and organizational maintenance of over 760 Army Stationing and Installation Plan devices (ASIP), Enhanced Position Location Reporting Systems (EPLRS), Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR), Harris and Motorola radio systems worth in excess of 7.5 million dollars. Responsible for the units Communication Security (COMSEC) sub-account, to include equipment receipts, accountability and control of all hardware, software, and associated records. Responsible for all automations maintenance, calibrations, and unit-wide Information Management. Supervise and ensure the health, welfare and training for a thirteen-man communications section.

Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded. Maintain accountability of upwards of $1,000 dollars cash on a daily basis.
