This position is responsible for the development, management and strengthening of the partnership between Information Technology and the core business functions using the POS systems: Retail, Food and Beverage and Spa. This position centers on working in close cooperation with the respective business and IT functions to provide solutions to support the needs of the respective business function. This position will develop, with their respective business function, joint strategic/tactical technology/business plans, and product development/capability roadmaps to ensure capability is delivered on time and within budget to support the needs of the respective, business function This position is specialized in that it requires an individual to: 1) Be proficient in their knowledge of the respective MGM Resorts International business functions with an aptitude for understanding information technology and being able to communicate, in understandable business terms, technology capabilities/solutions to satisfy the needs of this candidate’s respective business function; 2) Matrix management of the various information technology technical functions and enterprise services, such as integration, information management, project management, testing to deliver solutions in support of the candidate’s business function; And, 3) Translate business needs into understandable technology requirements to ensure the solutions delivered support candidate’s respective business function needs.
