My commitment to civil service began 6 years ago when I enlisted in the United States Army where I continuously served and honored our Nation. During this assignment I was stationed in Iraq where I was responsible for maintaining maintenance on military vehicles and equipment also provided daily aid and security to the people of Mosul, Iraq while supervising a team of 10 enlisted men and women. Upon my discharge I enlisted in the United States Army Reserves in order to remain actively serving our Nation while attending school full time. Since Cyber Security has been identified as our Nation’s number one national threat, I decided to further my education and align my career objectives in this ever growing industry. My experience in operations management, industrial equipment operations, surveillance techniques, TCP/IP, firewall, switching, routing specialist, Windows Powershell scripting and Wireshark. My broad range of abilities, work ethic, drive, organization skills, and experiences are valuable. I have gained leadership skills through my service in the US Army and through my civilian positions. I lead a team of 10 while I mentored and maintained accountability of others providing positive guidance for their personal and professional development. My verbal communication skills and creative thinking strengthened during my supervisory position at Jiffy Lube. I have proven myself to be an integral part of any team, a person that can be relied upon by all and always upholding the value of serving others.
