Sole superintendent over self perform concrete work with NexGen (a sister company to Gray) in the PNW, I managed upwards of 50 union carpenters amongst $20 million of work over 3 simultaneous projects. All three projects were critical facilities.I worked hand in hand with my project manager to execute the project according to schedule and budget. I was mainly responsible for drafting and executing the concrete project schedule, order material, plan/execute foundations/slabs/tilt panel layout/panel erection, and manage my labor as well as my subcontractors.

As a member of the QA/QC team, I manage project issues through our online database BIM 360 FIELD as well as perform routine audits on the system. I also conduct onsite inspections to ensure installation is correct per approved contract documents. Furthermore, I coordinate with the subcontractors to ensure equipment is ready for inspections with the owners third party representative. I regularly work directly with the client through turnover punch walks. I helped kick of the cMOP program on site as an early coordinator, standing as the liaison between the client and our trade partners. This covers ongoing work in areas that are turned over to the client. My role has changed and evolved throughout the projects lifespan. Currently I oversee the transition between QAQC and Commissioning. I drive gating issues to closure to ensure equipment along the critical path is installed per design documents and, at the same time, energized in accordance to the schedule. This requires clear and concise communication and collaboration to ensure equipment is safe/ready to energize with enough time allotted for testing activities that follow.Currently my efforts are put forth to build a $600 million Data Center. I have been exposed to many pieces of electrical equipment and their respective drawings/documents (one line drawings, megger/continuity reports, torque sheets, NETA test reports, and more). My role continues to expand everyday as I learn more about the equipment, construction process, and industry as a whole.
