About Brandon Larue
I've always loved to create. Ever since I was little, I was always trying to build things, whether it be making things out of legos or trying to make solar panels with my childhood friends. As I got older, tinkering and messing around with things turned into designing and prototyping. As my ideas and creations started to gain more and more thought and science behind them, I wanted to be able to design and create to help others and what better way to do that than make devices that either help save lives or improve the quality of others.Right now I am a Junior at Duke University on the wrestling team and I get to pursue my goals in all aspects of my life. I get to have fun competing in the sport that I have done since I was 5 years old and I get to learn and build my knowledge and skillset to earn a degree and help people doing what I love. Throughout the 2 years I have already completed at Duke, I learned how to code in Python and C++ as well as Matlab, I built on my foundations of CAD software, I have gotten new experience prototyping all while meeting new people to help me achieve my goals. Being on a sports team on a collegiate level has allowed me to build leadership skills and the ability to work in a team and bring people together as a team and has been an incredible experience.Recently, have learned how to code a little bit of Javascript, CSS, and HTML through an app development project I am working on. I have also learned many things about computer hardware through building a cryptocurrency mining computer, which is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. Outside of wrestling and doing schoolwork, I am really interested in cryptocurrency and the potential it has for the future of business and investing.

Backend is an Express.js application using mongo models, aggregation pipeline and other MongoDB operations to accomplish various tasks assigned to controller functions through endpoints accessed by the Expo app.This project has been a full stack experience and I have taken the app from ideation to a functioning beta app that is being developed and improved daily.
