Travel to Customer sites to repair quality issues on behalf of United Alloy.* Develop and implement processes, procedures, forms, work instructions and tools to monitor and improve Quality Assurance processes.First line of contact for internal and external quality issues. Monitor product development at each stage of production (new and existing) products undergoing revision changes between Internal Engineering Changes to Customer Change Requests. Steps including but not limited to: new material inspection from vendors, Laser Process Checking, Form Inspections, Weld Stage Completion up to final stage of paint and assembly. Weld Defect Trained. The product development process will include completing 1st article inspection's and Following up with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR') advanced product quality planning (APQP), production part approval process (PPAP) / initial sample inspection reports (ISIR) as well as part submission warrant (PSW). Responsible for the administration and application of the calibration systems and Production Tooling. Use of ROMER – 6 Axis portable articulating measurement arm for 3D measurements of extremely large work-pieces. 7S's, the 8 Wastes of Lean, and TOC. A solid understanding of metal fabrication concepts and processes; the ability to determine material types and gauges; the ability to read and interpret blueprints; a solid understanding of calibration systems; a solid understanding of quality systems inspection and testing processes; and experience with Jobboss, Unipoint Software, Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Performs a variety of automotive painting functions associated with the manufacturing of van bodies, stake bodies and reefer trucks. Proficient at all relevant tasks and equipment monitoring and proven knowledge, experience in the operation of cup guns, pressure pots, airless sprayers and plural painting systems. Responsible for the application of paint products selected for use by the company and applied to various materials and components such as but not limited to lift gates, docks, ICC's, small parts, rear frames, bulkheads, overhead doors, truck body and cab paint. Capability to prepare all products for paint. Actively supports and participates in Poindexter Production System (PPS), 5's, Lean, TPM, and other Continuous Improvement initiatives.

As part of the Manufacturing Improvement Team my main duties are to manage factory capacity, layout, equipment, and various factory processes. Utilize online tools to streamline information and automate analysis and reports. Lead Lean project teams. Complete objectives on time. Be the manufacturing expert and role-model to resolve any issue limiting the factory’s ability to ship products that meet all customer expectations through the relentless application of Lean Manufacturing. Influence in quality practices and integrated test methodology. Includes First Article Inspections for initial units out of production, RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Actions) on audit findings, and facilitating actions based on critical quality events. Familiarity with computer system hardware and software design and development, ability to isolate sources of defects between electrical and mechanical sub-systems. Ability to report, document and present technical subject matter, summarize data, and recommend solutions to peers and management in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrate expertise in Lean Manufacturing techniques and practices, ability to apply this methodology to drive continuous improvement in a variety of areas and influence teams to achieve and measure results. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment, and create order in ambiguous situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with high technology system manufacturing processes, six sigma, 5S, cycle times, takt & move times.

Responsible for continuous improvement during the assembly of Military vehicles for the US Government and other foreign Countries. Control testing, assembly processes, tracking system cycle-time goals, Shoptec, Kronos certified and standard operating and safety procedures; product quality; process control; supplier quality processes; ISO audits; I was one of four employees on 2nd shift that was certified to sign off and release a vehicle for sale to the US Government ; and other related activities as assigned. Accurately maintain company records, CSO book orders and QC documents and other documents in accordance with policies and procedures. Work with other quality personnel in obtaining goals of meeting or exceeding customer specifications while meeting target costs and customer expectations. Report and chart quality measures. Assign all product quality deficiency reports. Respond to quality process nonconformance issues (QC-25’s documents) in an expedient manner. Harrison Plant: Body Assembly, South Plant: Engine assembly/Final Delivery Inspector: A/C 36 regulators certified through the State of Wisconsin and trained and certified welding experience.
