As a collaborative Assistant Director of Student Support, I co-lead teams specializing in MTSS and PBIS coaching, supporting the effective implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) across the region. Together with my colleagues, we ensure seamless integration of services through Integrated Student Supports (ISF), maximizing student success. We actively support school counseling initiatives, nurturing students' mental well-being in partnership with our dedicated team. Our collaborative efforts extend to grant alignment and management, where we strategically allocate resources to support our shared mission. Through co-leading MTSS regional implementation efforts, we align services with evolving educational needs, ensuring comprehensive support for all students. By championing mental health integration, we collectively promote holistic student development, enriching academic outcomes and overall well-being. As a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Coordinator, my primary responsibility revolves around providing crucial support to districts, schools, and Regional Educational Agencies (REAs) in their endeavors to establish and maintain effective MTSS frameworks. In this role, I offer training and coaching to district leaders and teams, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully implement MTSS in their local schools. My focus is on ensuring that districts adhere to MTSS principles with fidelity, utilizing tools like the District Capacity Assessment at the school level and facilitating comprehensive implementation at all tiers for both reading and behavior support. I am an active participant in the statewide MTSS support network, where I collaborate across regions, advocate for equity, integrate behavioral health supports, and provide critical technical assistance and training. In addition to these responsibilities, I am dedicated to research, data analysis, and the development of innovative solutions to address the evolving needs of professional development and programs in regional districts. My role is deeply rooted in inclusivity, cultural diversity, and a strong commitment to a racial equity lens, and it demands a proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach within the ever-changing landscape of education.

As a School Climate Transformation Specialist, my role is centered on cultivating positive and supportive school environments by coaching the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) while also leading and supporting building teams in mental health education and substance use prevention. I work closely with educators, administrators, and staff to create and sustain a school climate that fosters emotional well-being and academic success. Through PBIS coaching, I empower schools to implement evidence-based strategies that promote behavioral and social-emotional growth among students. Simultaneously, I lead efforts to educate and support building teams in addressing mental health and substance use prevention, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to enhance students' emotional health and prevent substance-related challenges. My mission is to create safe, nurturing, and inclusive school climates where students can thrive academically and personally.
