During my employment at G Lopes Construction I worked with the site crew to ensure layouts for foundations were correct. During my employment with them i set up and poured concrete foundations, pads, and sidewalks. I obtained my Massachusetts Hoisting license to operate the lull and moffit to move material around site. I also was able to help operate other site-work equipment like the end-dump and compactors from plate compactors to 20-ton ride on.

During my enlistment i worked on all types of military gear. We would asses the gear and determine if it could be fixed or if we need to design and create a new piece. We used CNC mills and lathes, along with manual mills and lathes. I did one deployment to Afghanistan from September 2010 to April 2011. My duties while deployed were to fix gear and return it to the fight. I went on resupply convoys as an A gunner to different areas in helmand province. I worked the entry control point for Camp Dwyer searching for bombs and contraband from incoming locals and Afghan nationals.
