Worked in an applied modeling group responsible for building predictive models in support of marketing campaigns.

Built predictive models for clients of the Data Management Platform (DMP). These models varied from relatively simple response models to more complicated "Next Product to Buy" models, and more. Had the opportunity to work with great open source tools for data science such as: R, Python, and Apache Spark.Worked with large digital marketing data sets (for example: web page views and display impression records) stored in various ways (Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, Greenplum, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server).Other responsibilities included experimental design, data visualization, and helping build analytics data pipelines (for extracting data from the DMP, doing feature extraction, and model building/scoring).

Worked as a customer behavior analyst in the e-commerce division. Main responsibilities included: segmentation, retention modeling, statistical testing, and forecasting.

Assisted professors on research projects and tutored undergraduates in economics.
