The mount attaches to your fold out chair-in-a-bag where the two legs meet and form an X. (Please see pictures to the left.) This design is for strength and stability. Tighten the “L” bolt to lock the mount to your chair. Depending on the size of your legs your mount might be loose, but no worries, the mount is designed to fit many style and size chairs . Please note, if you get up out of your chair for any length of time and you hook a fish, the chair could tip forward. The best way to prevent tipping is to stay seated until you have hooked a fish. The mount has a Limited Lifetime Warranty on it, but we have built in safety support to help. Notice the grooves in the base of the mount. This acts as a spring like support when there is a lot of weight put on the mount. Plus, any thing over 20lb's the teeth will give to prevent breakage.
