Worked independently on multiple projects incorporating various grades of stainless steels, while looking at solidification rate measurements, failure analysis, accelerated life testing, and new product development methods. Involved in data collection and analyzing large data formats, gauge RNR, and sending out samples for mechanical tests. Participated in weekly department meetings. Helped with an installation of a Titan Robotics 3D printer and was trained on pellet extrusion and filament extrusion.

Tested metal pins for Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, and Sulfur content using Leco analyzers. Utilized metal slugs provided by the foundry. Became familiar with a XRF spectra and OES (Spark Analysis) spectra analyzers for the rest of the elements to prevent pouring the wrong metal and facilitating quality assurance.

Learned manufacturing and the essentials of how a factory operates serving in multiple roles requiring interaction with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Accounting.• Machinist: Fabricated components in the machine shop working with Traxx 2 and 3 axis mills, lathes, band saws, horizontal saws, table saws, and an array of other machines and tools. Trained in introductory level Copper Brazing.• Shipping and Receiving: Worked in the shipping and receiving department negotiating with carriers, planning the crating and shipping of a wide variety of Induction Heating Machines and Manufacturing Cells. Received and inspected incoming inventory and logged received items in the ERP. • Business Development/Sales: Attended the Las Vegas Shot Show in January 2014 and 2017 with Radyne, participated and helped coordinate meetings with C-Level, VP and Management Level Executives such as Winchester/Olin, Ruger, Barnes Bullets, ATI, and Remington. Established relationships with several new potential clients including Daniel Defense, Barrett, Century Arms, and others.
