Technology Specialist
Support ETFCU and Liberty Financial users with any tier 1 and tier 2 issues as well as set up new users with computer hardware with software and PXE images specific to their role at the credit union. Company hardware is tracked in specific software tracking databases and is properly disposed of so that no data can be retrieved from any company equipment leaving the organization. Each laptop is encrypted and set up for each individual user by sitting with them and showing them how to use the laptop and access company files from home. Technology Specialists are expected to be the front line of IT and are expected to take proper documentation procedures on any and all issues/setups that are performed.

This position includes supporting users at an corporate international level and includes administration tasks such as workstation hardening and managing user access throughout our systems. I was included in many projects such as the implementation of Plex ERP across the company and security tasks to help with administration of this newly implemented cloud based system. Also a part of my responsibilities was to help with setting up all hardware such as user workstations (Desktops/Laptops) as well as mobile hardware (iPhones, iPads) which uses a Mobile Device Management (MDM) System.
