Brandon started at Petersen Consulting in 2010-2011 as an intern and continued his internship with Petersen Consulting for the next 4 years while finishing his studies. Brandon recently accepted a full time position with the business after finishing his hockey career in Huntsville, Alabama. Over the years Brandon has focused on expanding and developing his management consulting skills and knowledge in a variety of industries to become a trusted adviser to clients of the business. The practice provides management consulting in a variety of industries specializing in natural resources, negotiations, business and strategic planning and joint ventures. Brandon has been gradually taking on more responsibility within the business, which integrates First Nations into the mainstream economy and creating lasting and meaningful relationships between Industry and Aboriginal Communities.Over the years Brandon has worked on several business plans and studies in a variety of industries in Northern Ontario, including mining, forestry, tourism, energy and Aboriginal economic development. Brandon has provided extensive research on projects involving joint ventures and Impact Benefit Agreements/ Exploration Agreements between Industry and First Nations throughout Ontario. Brandon works with the firm to facilitate and successfully maintain relationships and manage execution of these projects.Brandon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Queen’s University in Kingston. His degree has provided an essential platform for understanding economic concepts that allow him to be an integral part of the team and projects executed at Petersen Consulting.
