Namibia, Africa*Nuukata Primary School -Taught roughly 200 students, grades 5-7, in Life Skill and English -Created an after-school boys club for 30 students to learn more about different health practices, self-esteem builders, and gender equality. -Took students on monthly camping trips to learn about different parts of Namibia . *Nuukata Primary School Library -Received grant funding through several government agencies to build a school library -Library and computer room with over 125 books housed in the building *Nuukata Primary School Feeding program -With 166 orphan and vulnerable children at Nuukata, the feeding program was created to help diminish the OVC number at the school -Received food and money donations throughout my village to help create the program -Two days a week 54 students receive a lunch after school of traditional foods *Oshikuku Basket Project -Created traditional and local basket weaving business in my village of Oshikuku -Created, managed, and oversaw all business aspects of the basket project -Managed 24 women from the community to weave and sell baskets throughout the country
