• • Ensure network connectivity from end devices to over 400 PLC Ethernet devices and on-premise and offsite server farms are healthy and free of errors so that mission-critical applications can run 24x7• Designing, configuring, and installing new network equipment. (The plant is constantly expanding)• Perform scheduled maintenance and upgrades on network infrastructure• Deploy and maintain over 300 switches and firewalls, depending on the location inside the plan.• Maintain low-latency wireless network plant-wide for over 200 APs• Monitors network performance and troubleshoots problem areas as needed.• Make proper backup of all device configurations so that spare units can be configured quickly when a device fails in the plant• Design and maintain network redundancy and minimize fault domain• Keep wiring documentation and network topology diagram current• Learn and apply emerging technologies and best practices to IT infrastructure• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues in a high-pressure environment.best practices to IT infrastructure
