I am a Partner in the KPMG Seattle audit practice with more than 16 years of experience service clients in the forest products, construction, technology, and manufacturing industries. I returned to the Seattle audit practice in July of 2016 after completing a 3 year rotation in KPMG's Department of Professional Practice (DPP).My role in DPP involved consulting with and advising our professionals on rules, regulations, and policies that guide the delivery of our Audit products in the United States. I worked with standard setters and regulators (e.g. FASB, SEC, AICPA, and PCAOB) as they developed new rules and regulations for our profession. I delivered guidance and training on current accounting, auditing, and regulatory topics. Part of my role also involved identifying audit quality issues and helping teams implement remedial actions by participating in our inspections program. Prior to joining DPP in June of 2013, I lead the execution of audits in the field. In that role, besides being responsible for directing the audits of companies, I assisted clients in understanding complex accounting requirements. I managed the audits of internal control over financial reporting under Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. I provide accounting and business advisory services on matters such as complex revenue recognition issues, business combinations, stock-based compensation, and intangible assets.

I started my career at Arthur Andersen in 1999 where I worked primarily on audits of healthcare providers, manufacturing companies, and telecommunications companies.
