My current journey is to start teaching the future generations the pitfalls that I have experienced and how to avoid them. The development of ones work is completely dependent on how and when they train. As some entrepreneur types would want you not to believe. You can over work, over train, and over indulge in behaviors that will stunt your growth in multiple facets of life. I spent a great number of years thinking that my talent would carry passed the finish line with ease and I would soar into the artistic atmosphere and all my peers would applaud my arrival. This is just not true. The average artist will not be successful to the fullest extent, but you can be slightly above average if you treat not only your work with respect but yourself. I have found great success in learning more about my mental state, the whys behind my good and bad months. This is something that require self reflection and good honest work. I believe that I can help people who genuinely wish to enter a career with everything they have to offer. I believe that positive mentorship is a gateway to healthy working adults. Something this work is in short supply of. Students will have ups and downs in creativity, drive, and motivation, but as their mentors should know this is all apart of the journey. If you are looking to hire someone that has had as many obstacles as the one hundred meter hurdle.
