Product Marketing Manager
In this role, I led the Marketing Team for our ADAS Radar business line with Texas Insturments. My team supported product roadmap definition, developed and executed Go-to-Market strategies for complex Radar products in a B2B setting, owned business development activities, created pricing strategies and led customer discussions for product development.
Product Marketing Engineer
In this role, I was responsible for growing revenue for DLP Automotive's Exterior Lighting business. I supported customers building high resolution (1M+ pixels) headlights and dynamic small exterior lighting projectors. I supported China, Americas, Japan and Korea during this role, and was able to gain valuable experience with international business development. In addition to business development, my responsibilities including maintain a best-in-class online product presence and releasing critical technical tools to assist customer development projects. This included publishing technical whitepapers for high resolution headlight and dynamic small exterior lighting, demonstrational and promotional videos for various trade shows, and definition of evaluation kits for accelerated customer product development. I also had the opportunity to present publications and presentations at various industry trade shows.
Dlp Engineering Rotational Program
In this role, I applied for and was selected for this multi-functional rotational program. This program allowed me to explore the semiconductor industry with rotations in Product Marketing, Applications Engineering and Product Development Engineering. Throughout the program, I was able to learn how customers use our products, what problems they face when using our products and how we build our products. The multi-function aspect of this rotation program enabled me to learn how each function works together and how to define products for both new and existing markets. In this program, I learned to support vertical and mass market customers while learning how to build a product presence and gain mindshare with our customers. I also got experience with international business development taking trips to China, Korea and Hong Kong.
Digital Design Engineer
My first role at Texas Instruments enabled me to work on the design of our digital micromirror devices (DMDs). As a digital design engineer, my responsibilities included automotating our characterization and wafer probe test pattern generation which saved multiple man months for each project, improving a non industry standard (Verilog-based) verification environment to model analog circuit functionality as well as increase probability of the environment through the use of an interface for assertion signal names and re-designed method of generating and running test patterns to be used by design engineers for block level verification. Before I left the role, I was the lead verification engineer for the CMOS sub-system of the p23 family of DLP Pico DMDs and lead a technical training session for ten design engineers to teach the process for running VCD files. I also helped to created multiple Verilog models of digital circuits to shorten overall circuit verification time.
Digitial Verification Engineering Intern
As a DMD verification engineer, my responsibilities range from creating a toggle coverage script for the DMDs to updating DMD models in Verilog and developing tests in SystemVerilog. The toggle coverage script I created takes output files from Ultrasim (a Cadence product) and calculates the percentage of nodes toggled and outputs the toggled nodes to a text file for the user to examine. The DMD models are used to run simulations and test the circuit. The transition to Verilog tests vs. the old Ultrasim tests cut the run time down from hours to seconds, giving my team almost immediate feedback.
Public Safety Lte Intern : Automation Engineer
Modified existing automation tools to be compatible with android phones for application testing as well as developing scripts in python for the testing of the applications. Learned useful skills such as LabVIEW development, Python, Android OS, Android SDK (MonkeyRunner and LogCat).
Ece 110 Lab Assistant
Helped students complete and understand the weekly lab assignment in the electrical engineering introductory course (ECE 110) as well as helped students with final design project. Final design project consistent of circuit design and logical algorithm development and software development. The software portion of the project was optional for the students.
