New Product Development and R&D for the HVAC industry

I'm primarily responsible for new product development with a focus on the design and fabrication of sheet metal and plastic components. My work with products from concept to final production not only allows me to work closely with our production and fabrication personnel but it also gives me the chance to educate our sales team members on new product features and functionality.Some additional roles and accomplishments:* Responsible for the design, prototyping and production of infrared proximity sensors used on our flagship product* Testing and documentation of component failures* Lead design engineer on a project with an international team* Earned the company-wide 'Above and Beyond Award' (June, 2016) for my work in the build and development of our newest cappuccino machine for the National Restaurant Association trade show, as well as my continued support of our product onsite at the show

I designed a test fixure for proximity switches being used in nuclear applications.
