Worked as an engineering manager for a consulting company. This role included acting as the lead in delivering projects for clients, as well as contributing my expertise to other projects across the company to ensure quality and adherence to our standards. I also acted as manager for numerous engineers, ensuring they keep up to date with their skills and career growth while advocating on their behalf.Responsibilities include:- Managing day to day client relations for multiple projects- Acting as lead to deliver projects, including the launch of the CFD Portal - Helping to create an in-house career growth framework to help evaluate our engineers and providing them clear guidelines and milestones to reach the next stages in their careers- Engaging in presales work to build relationships and pitch potential clients and grow the business

Responsible for bridging the gap between business users and technology, ensuring that the right requirements are gathered to deliver the right experience to end customers. Responsibilities included:- Continuing to lead a team in supporting the ProsperUs brand with new features and a mobile application- Lead the solutioning and of a new customer facing portal for new and existing clients to trade in Contract for Difference (CFD) securities products and manage their accounts- Contributed to estimates to build proposals and win new business for the company

Responsibilities included:- Creating new processes utilizing collaborative tools such as Jira and Confluence to facilitate project delivery in an enterprise environment.- End to end solutioning of a client portal web and mobile application for the new ProsperUs brand. This application was built using AWS serverless technologies for the client interactions while integrating with traditional technologies and legacy systems on the back end.- Managing timelines and deliverables, applying hybrid agile methodologies in a traditionally waterfall company.- Liaising with 3rd party vendors to deliver tactical solutions for things like: automated QR code payments via PayNow, managed hosting for a marketing site, and integration with a trading platform.

Served as technical lead of frontend development for the sgx.com website. Led a small team ofdevelopers in finishing a revamp of the Singapore Exchange’s main corporate website. Developedthe frontend using a combination of in-house developed libraries and native custom elements todeliver a site that was mobile first, performant, and stable with an average of 2000+ concurrentusers at any given time. Routinely interacted with stakeholders from a wide number ofdepartments to ensure a steady influx of new features, bug fixes, and performanceimprovements with no downtime. Was also able to lead an insourcing development effort thatsaved the company around $800k per year by developing a custom solution to replace a vendorprovided one.

Built an HTML 5 game using the Phaser framework a part of an ongoing campaign. User scores were tracked using async requests so that teams could compete with each other on a daily basis. Worked closely with the lead backend developer to come up with a security plan to prevent users from cheating. Worked as lead frontend developer on a payment gateway for an insurance company. Also helped with estimating and establishing timelines for pitching new client work. In addition to these projects, was also tasked with working on multiple responsive EDMs and HTML5 banners that worked across all major clients and devices.Clients included: Honda, Accor Hotels, Standard Chartered Bank, and Singapore Airlines

I acted as the lead front end developer on multiple website revamps for established brands, guiding all the choices made for the structure of the HTML, CSS, and Javascript technologies used. My duties would often involve helping to coordinating between multiple developers, designers, PMs, and clients within an agile-like development process. When necessary, I would often work directly with the clients to ensure that they were happy with the quality of working delivered and that it met their business needs.My role further expanded into back end technologies, taking over as the lead developer of websites built on the Episerver enterprise level CMS. I also earned my Sitecore development certification and acted as lead back end developer for a brand new website built on that CMS.Clients included: Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis Hotels, Auto & General, Brocade, Audi, Resorts World Sentosa, Disney Shanghai, and SAP

Cincinnati, Ohio Area

I worked as one of two front end developers on a global website revamp of Ingram Micro, helping to move over 80 separate websites across countries onto one single website. The project lasted almost 2 years with the client generating over $1MM in revenue for the company annually. My responsibilities also included making several trips out of state to work with their team of developers on site to overhaul an AJAX-driven search system that cut search results time by over 50%.I worked with several Smucker's brand websites, taking ownership of monthly site updates for 7 different MVC brand sites. In addition, I was the lead developer on several smaller projects, including Facebook apps and promotional code giveaways written in both C# and PHP.Clients included: Ingram Micro, Smucker's, Microsoft, Folgers Coffee, and Pringles

Cincinnati, Ohio Area

Created new features for and perform day to day maintenance for multiple websites for magazine publications. The sites were built on the Ektron CMS and used a custom solution for interacting with the database and content.
