About Brandon Strom

I graduated with my MSW from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work in May 2021. Internships during MSW education focused on the older adult population, and included in-person and remote services due to the pandemic. Open to working with all ages of clients, and interested in working with those living with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders. Ideally looking for a clinical / mental health related position. Currently hold an LMSW, valid in Connecticut (expires 7/31/24). Currently working part-time as an independent contractor for Talkspace, but looking for a full-time social work position, as well.Other, non-social work related experiences include current employment as a homebound tutor, working remotely with adolescents in the WHPS district. I have tutored in a variety of subjects, and this has given me a good amount of experience working with this age group / population. This has also helped increase my experience at providing remote / virtual services.
