• Defines complex, multi-million dollar projects for Revenue Management and Commercial initiatives including scope, timeline, and executes tasks defined in the project plan to achieve goals using standard project management methodologies and practices.• Builds partnerships to collaborate and uses influence to gather business requirements and communicate effectively with all project Teams and support groups, including Technology.• Deep knowledge of Revenue Management practices and ability to identify continuous improvements in processes and tools.• Understands project management Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.• Continually assesses project needs and resources to complete projects on time meet revenue goals.• Identify root cause of problems and develop action plan to determine optimal solution.• Liaison between Revenue Management, vendors and other Southwest Departments.• Prepare unbiased, fact-based recommendations of vendor reviews, internal strategies, and other ad-hoc consultation for Leadership.• Develops and validates business cases.• Drives testing and acceptance of project results; including internally and externally developed software.• Partners with resource managers, peers, and vendors to assemble a project Team and provide ongoing motivation to drive projects to completion.• Facilitates project meetings and presentations to Leadership.• Engages and initiates change leadership to ensure project acceptance.• Proactively communicates with Stakeholders, Sponsors and Project Teams to maintain project alignment.
