At Universe Corporation I started as a CAD Drafter, drawing full sets of architectural drawings for commercial buildings. This lead to a 3D Modeling position where I became the modeling lead and was responsible for modeling every Laser scan project we did. My final spot in the Engineering department was the 3D Modeling Team Leader where we tackled over 50 projects a year. Juggling multiple jobs and deadlines I had to learn the importance of Project Management at once. After a couple years of a Team Lead I transferred into Technical Sales and was in charge of the entire New England territory. While working in sales I developed programs and tools to help the team become more efficient. I found a way to integrate my hobbies into the work place. I made animations (Maya, 3DS Max, SolidWorks, Unreal Engine) to help teach installers how to install our products. I started creating programs for different departments utilizing Python and Excel. I even got the opportunity to purchase a 3D printer for the company where we 3D printed tools for our warehouse employees to help with quality control. Something I learned throughout the time is that technology is my passion. I strive for more efficient ways to get tasks done. As of now I am in the process of launching a academic platform for colleges using python and SQL

As Vice Chair of communications I am to help improve the involvement of our community. Right now I am working on a website to allow other clubs to interact with each other more efficiently.

In my position I lead a team of engineering students to win in ASME competitions. I am in charge of roughly 20 people working with each other towards the same goal. As Vice President I have also given tours, run camps, and travel to help promote the importance of STEM subjects. I designed a UAV in SolidWorks and then built it for competitions. As Vice President you learn the importance of every step in the process of building a product from start to finish and understand the importance of running analysis to sure the design is optimal.

I have recently Co-Founded with a colleague the Mizzou Chapter of Seds. We made this club to organize a group of passionate and driven students dedicated to expand the role of human exploration and development of space. I am in charge of the competition build team which includes a rocket competition and weather balloon challenges.

As Treasurer I take care of all budgets for AIAA. I have also written the entire budget outline and presented a business plan to the University for our clubs funding. This included the manufacturing of our Rocket parts for competition. I have also traveled for the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition and represented Mizzou as a competitor. I designed the rocket from nosecone to fin in SolidWorks and ran thermal analysis to collect data use for reports. I currently am a National Member of AIAA as well.

As secretary I plan all the trips, meetings, and events. Being a member of the 3d printing club you learn the importance of this new technology and how it can really make a difference.
