I am the head coach of the Indiana Nitro 2020 Cardinal travel baseball team. It is my goal to provide my players with an environment where they can expand upon their basic baseball knowledge to become more well rounded as they head into high school. Looking forward, it is the goal of the organization to have all players gain exposure in front of college coaches. All of my players know that academics come first and being a good student is the most important thing they can do right now for their futures.

- Supervise accounting department support staff tasked with grant accounting- Prepare reports to facilitate internal decision making and meet regulatory requirements- Manage Chart of Accounts and preparation of financial reports for programs funded by federal, state, and local grants- Perform or supervise preparation, processing, and monitoring of receipts and disbursements, andclaims for reimbursement for federal, state, and local funding grants for numerous programs- Assist project directors in monitoring budgeted funds by maintaining general budgets and reviewingaccount disbursements- Serving on Steering Committe for $2.8M grant as Finance and Budgeting Consultant- Mapped finances and budgeting for $1.1M 21st Century Grant application

I was responsible for event management for events such as: football, basketball, soccer, and wrestling. During the internship I would perform setup and tear down of events, and manage volunteers. Valuable experience was gained working with uniform suppliers who were working to earn our business and provide baseball uniforms, apparel, and hats for the 2019 season. Working for the Pike athletic department was a great experience, and I learned how to work through issues ranging from malfunctioning ticketing devices to having volunteers missing right before game time. I look forward to applying these lessons in the future.

I give private hitting lessons for baseball players of all ages. My goal is to spread the knowledge of the game to young players, while working toward their goals of making a team, making friends, or even just staying active.

- Complete accounting entries and account reconciliations in support of US/Mexico cash management- Assist with global cash management operations, including intercompany loans- Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of bank account balances- Calculate and present quarterly commodity and interest rate hedging analyses to Controller- Improved efficiency of excel processes by adding VLookups and pivot tables for clarity in summarizing reports

- Oversee the development and maturation of a group of young men - Develop and implement hitting program and strategy for Varsity/JV teams- Maintain expectations that everyone on the team understands and execute their roles- Teach life lessons through the game of baseball- Communicate with players, parents, and coaches in order to maintain good relations

- Maintain fixed asset depreciation and amortization for creating monthly accrual entry- Analyze variances in monthly percentage of completion data and present findings to management- Review and reconcile several balance sheet accounts- Allocate credit card charges to appropriate GL account and cost center- Other duties: review/code AP invoices, process checks, enter cash receipts, collect on past dueaccounts, payroll processing, multi-state payroll and sales taxes

- Disseminate complex weather models that result in mission success- Retain a Secret Security Clearance due to handling of classified military intelligence - Present customers with detailed weather forecasts- Use problem solving skills to complete meteorologically intricate job requirements- Foster leadership through continuing education and skill upgrade training- Responsible for training and acclimating new members to job requirements and military expectations- Provide stand-up presentations and seminars on a regular basis using MS PowerPoint - Formulate weather forecasts within specified parameters using critical thinking and reasoning - Use of teamwork skills essential to perform to regulated standards- Adaptability and willingness to try new ideas to accomplish the task at hand- Performance must be impeccable, sometimes under immense pressure
