I received my BBA in Digital Marketing and eCommerce from Western Michigan University. During my time at WMU, I developed an extensive knowledge of digital marketing practices and was even tasked with applying my knowledge to real world business situations. One specific situation was competing in a world wide digital marketing competition, with over 240 teams, where my group received a second place trophy. We developed a digital marketing campaign for the company, Radio Flyer, who was launching a new brand of eBike. The semester long competition allowed me to learn so much about real world marketing strategies and internal business situations. In May 2023, I started as a Digital Marketing Intern at Consumers Credit Union. During my internship I have had the opportunity to maintain and grow our social media accounts, conduct primary and secondary market research for various different projects, work with our advertising agency on improving our digital advertising methods and SEO practices, help create future marketing campaign ideas, and continuously analyze and create data from various sources. After my internship, I was offered a Digital Content Specialist position at Consumers. This is a new position thats main focus is developing new content in a strategic and data driven manner. Since obtaining this position at the beginning of 2024, we have started optimizing our ad spend by utilizing influencer marketing, optimized our YouTube SEO with relevant titles and descriptions, began tracking successes with meaningful data along with much more.
