Brandon Wrinkle Email and Phone Number
After starting out in AT&T's (formerly SBC Communications) 24x7 midrange server operations center, Brandon soon moved into server automation and monitoring tools supporting BMC Patrol software with agents deployed to 2000 UNIX servers and 3000 Windows servers operating in data centers across the US.During the early 2000's, as corporations became more dependent on their IT systems to meet the goals of the business, ITO was tasked with increasing availability of mission critical systems to "Five Nines". At the same time we were learning that a response to ping is not an accurate indicator of whether a server is providing the production services it is supposed to be. Brandon was selected as the midrange server monitoring representative for a Business Service Management (BSM) project that aimed to perform root cause isolation and business service impact mapping for SBC's mission critical applications. As a member of the team, he took on the lead systems integrator role installing, configuring and maintaining HP OpenView Operations Manager and other pieces of the OV software suite while providing the *nix and Windows systems monitoring expertise required for accurately monitoring and reporting on service-impacting events. At CompuCom Systems, Inc., he honed his project management skills while leading projects including customer on-boarding, internal tools migrations, network and hardware refreshes and building out new service offerings. During his tenure, he managed over 45 total projects and was instrumental in booking over $27M in total revenue. His technical background and exceptional communications skills enabled his success as a project manger, by not only being able to manage project schedules and budgets, but he was able to dig into "the weeds" of the technical solution and communicate with the technical SMEs in a way that allowed him to understand how a project was really proceeding and what risks could potentially threaten the success of the project.
