• Help members/guests operate gym equipment.• Make sure gym floor, fitness rooms, and locker rooms are clean and meet safety regulations.

-Assist in the preparation of the stadium for each event – set up concourse tables/chairs, inflatable bounce house and speed pitch, umbrellas, etc.-Assist with checking the cleanliness of seating bowl, concourse, restrooms, perimeter, Press Box, etc.-Make sure all restrooms are stocked for game day.-Assist with stadium security and locking up the facility.-Support Operations Manager with scheduling and managing game day employees; including cleaning crew, ushers, and security guards.-Support Operations Manager with clubhouse operations and stadium rentals (i.e. charity events, concerts, etc.)-Assist with supervising third-party contractors around the stadium.-Assist the Community Relations manager with game day customer service duties.-Assist head groundskeeper with field maintenance - pulling tarp, clearing fireworks, etc.-Help with pressure washing, using power tools, and other projects as they arise.-Answer phones when needed at the front office.-Other duties that may be assigned.

-Manage the University Commons and provide services to building users; building includes conference center, auditorium, multiple meeting rooms, offices, bookstore, and more.-Unlock rooms for scheduled events; restore room set-ups as appropriate and ensure rooms and building are appropriately secured each evening.-Effect and assist with set-up for events in University Commons as assigned. At conclusion of events, secure all equipment and report any damage of equipment or facility to Productions Manager via Building Manager’s Report.-Serve as a quality control agent and ensure the appearance of the University Commons is maintained according to the cleaning and maintenance schedule.-Regularly assess the facility and report any security, maintenance or facilities maintenance issues to the proper office and report said problems via Building Manager’s Report.-Respond to last minute changes in schedule.-Supervise Service Desk staff, weekend Facility Services Assistants, Game Room staff and Production Services Crew.-Make contact with customer to ensure set-up of event is accurate and complete and all equipment is in working order.-Other duties that may be assigned.

As an intern, my job was to manage the t-ball baseball league. My duties consisted of hiring umpires for each game, making sure each field is prepared, and each team has equipment ready to play. If the umpire chosen to work a game did not show up, I would fill in and umpire the game. Once my internship ended, I was able to umpire youth kid pitch baseball games.
