We build great apps, be it web, mobile, TV or other connected device. We all have great backgrounds, work fast, and we haven’t seen red tape in ages. Broad knowledge is important, but deep expertise happens in the trenches. Our experience has given us each uniquely specialized backgrounds, but our team's expertise covers the gamut. And our collective experience in delivering premium, online media content at scale across the globe makes us just handy to have around for asking questions. Don't be shy, we like questions :)

I was fortunate enough to work with some of the best people I know, in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation. During my time here, I helped build two large-scale web applications, both targeted at a relatively untapped market of young creators. I've been using the following technologies on a regular basis since my start: AngularJS, Karma, Grunt, RequireJS, Firebase, Rails (at a cursory level), Coffeescript (I'm in love), and Zencoder. Learning to program declaratively has been a challenge, but the power and flexibility of Angular, once you understand it, is undeniable. I am proud to say that I worked at Fullscreen.

Was responsible for anything web player related (including ads and analytics), integrating and working with thePlatform, Adobe/Omniture, Freewheel, comScore, Nielsen, etc. Built a library for implementing players easily using RequireJS, LoDash, Grunt, Mocha/Chai and a handful of utilities and modules to aid in delivering video players.

I’m currently in an agency type of role where I find myself wearing many hats. My specialties lie in ads & analytics, but I also tend to focus most of my work on Flash, backend technologies (loving Node.js at the moment) and javascript for front-end (working with angular.js at the moment).I started in Customer Support, moved into the advertising group doing ad ops, then moved into more of a strategic role helping customers by giving them sample code or even small applications they could use. From there, I moved into the Professional Services group (now called Brightcove Consulting) where I’ve been for the past 4 years.I’ve been on projects ranging from a day in length to a year, most being complex solutions. I also started the Open Source project at Brightcove (opensource.brightcove.com) with two other teammates, and have since contributed several projects to help customers by providing ready-made solutions, though the sales team seems to like these as selling points.On a weekly basis I’m involved in one presales process or another, listening and understanding a customer’s needs and then presenting a solution to solve those problems. This includes on-site visits ranging from a day to two weeks, and a lot of whiteboarding.
