I worked in the Information Systems department for Amgen as a member of the Analytics, Collaboration, and User Experience division(ACUX). My team focused on examining, evaluating, and re-designing various aspects of the Amgen employees' work experience with an emphasis on how technology affects their goals. The team's objective is to improve daily efficiency, as well as long-term business effectiveness, by developing and improving existing IS solutions. During my internship, I created a teaching module that was part of a larger initiative aimed at improving fundamental skills in various competency areas for Amgen's Business Analysts(BA's). My module taught BA's about Usability Reviews, a core User Experience skill, and how to conduct them on their own solutions. To design the module, I interviewed BA's at varying levels of experience, prototyped solutions, and presented them to my team members and other supervisors.
