I co-founded Iron Ox to create a new food system for the 21st century and beyond. We redesigned the entire grow process from the ground up to be more sustainable, more efficient, and more delicious. We developed our own robotic systems to scale to millions of plants, all while giving each fruit or vegetable the attention they need. Our machine learning learned how to model healthy plants, automate disease detection, and break through on genetics.We raised over $100M from fantastic firms like Y Combinator, Breakthrough Energy, Crosslink Capital, and more as we scaled our farms and technology nationally.

I joined Google[X] to rethink logistics using our advanced proprietary UAV (drone) system. Instead of being beholden by traffic and terrain, our fleet of drones could deliver packages anywhere, anytime. I helped develop the software to scale our fleet of drones from consumer to backend. And was grateful to see our launch in Australia delivering real goods to farmers.

Willow Garage was started to advanced the robotics industry by 10 years and developed foundational technologies like the Robot Operating System. I was brought in to help develop the early days of cloud robotics. I focused on moving beyond individual robots to scalable, cloud-enable robotic systems.

I was originally brought into Uncodin to lead up the iOS team and eventually oversaw the iOS, Android, and web teams. While at Uncodin, I also instilled best practices for engineering and managed recruiting to double the size of the company with some exceptional employees.

Founded Alexander Mobile in the earliest days of the iPhone app store. We released two of the earliest real estate apps in the store (back when people questioned why you’d even look for a house on your phone) with Find My Apartment featured by Apple in a nationwide campaign.
