Storytelling, writing, and social media curation, aiming for maximum reach and fanbase interactions. Worked with several large clients writing and creating new content and curating existing work to enhance their brand messaging. Analyzed and summarized multiple client campaigns via detailed reports and data to provide learnings about how their content performed and why. Enhanced and deepened the sponsored content side of Upworthy, which helped retain existing clients and add new contracts. Instrumental in multiple key campaigns which generated $10 million in new revenue, including: AFL-CIO, CNBC, Cheerios, Aflac, Ad Council, Air B&B, Carnegie Corporation of NY, Norton/Symantec, TOMS, Project XQ, and more.In just under 3 years, content that I wrote supporting or original text for generated 150+ million pageviews. Pioneered multiple forms of content, including "Multi-item" posts that incorporated text, images, and videos to create a more interactive and satisfying user experience. In 2013, I proved the sponsor revenue model for Upworthy with its first major client, the AFL-CIO. After 1 year, that client tripled down on its contract. In the process, I built a fan base for Upworthy's economics content that still remains one of the largest and most dedicated components of its audience.Invented new ways to train Writers and Curators, replacing outdated and stodgy methods. This was very successful, as demonstrated by real numbers, and implemented across the board after proof of concept. That training method is still used today.
