I am responsible for leading a support team within the IT services department at Leigh Academies Trust. My multitasking skills are essential in this role as I am often in the process of planning multiple projects and managing live projects simultaneously. I also oversee the IT marketing help desk, which receives thousands of tickets a year and is used by internal staff and external users experiencing issues. I ensure the smooth operation of the helpdesk, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and timely completion of tickets within the specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while providing relevant data to our Chief Information Officer to review department performance.My role also includes researching and purchasing tech software, hardware, and services while ensuring monetary procedures have been followed, as well as our internal data and GDPR protocols. I manage spending, renewals, and accounts for all software, hardware, and third-party supplies within web, media, and design operations.The team I lead maintains 47 separate websites that provide information to students, parents, apprentices, governors, trainee teachers, and staff as well as Ofsted. In this role, I am heavily focused on enhancing LAT’s digital services with UX and accessibility key to every project. Recently, I have developed a strategic roadmap across the trust to move away from PDFs to a fully HTML system, which will support users with certain disabilities and boost SEO, as well as the LAT brand.Aside from that I also support the trust and academies with photography for marketing proposes and capture important events that are then showcased across LATs internal and external communications.

In this position, I rolled out a new helpdesk system to support customers across LAT for web services, developed SLAs, and SOPs which were agreed upon by the IT Director. I installed and administered a new hosting service for digital media and websites across the trust. I also managed LAT’s domain portfolio, which consists of over 100 domains that link all of LAT’s internal and external IT systems.I perform a wide range of tasks in graphic design, web design & development and video/audio production. I coordinate web projects across LAT, design and develop websites, produce graphics, web logos, banners, static and rich banner ads, social media campaigns and graphics and live streams across social media. I also support the creative department with monthly marketing campaigns for social media accounts across LAT, local newspaper and cinema advertising.

I also collaborated with the service delivery manager and IT Director to expand the department, including the development and implementation of a web support team that would eventually provide internal assistance to staff across the trust with their requirements in web, media, and design.
