With over 20 years of experience in the ports and maritime industry, Mr. Brandon M. Bergeron, P.E. is currently serving as the Port of Beaumont’s Director of Engineering where he is responsible for overseeing and coordinating capital projects, major maintenance, as well as master planning and future project development. Mr. Bergeron previously worked as Engineering Manager for Lanier & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. where he served as an engineering consultant and senior project manager on a variety of marine terminal projects for public ports and private industry in the Gulf Coast and East Coast.Upon graduating from college in 2003, Mr. Bergeron served as an engineering consultant for Lanier & Associates in the New Orleans area where he managed structural inspection services and marine terminal design, until moving to Beaumont, TX in 2006 to help start a new satellite office for Lanier. From October 2006 to August 2018, Mr. Bergeron continued with Lanier as a project engineer and project manager on numerous large-scale projects with multiple engineering disciplines while earning his professional engineering license and eventually serving as the company’s Engineering Manager of the Civil and Structural Engineering Group. As Engineering Manager, Mr. Bergeron was responsible for guiding the work of a team of professional engineers and design staff to ensure consistent workflow of the quality and standards expected in the public and private industries they served throughout the Gulf Coast region.Mr. Bergeron is a cum laude graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is registered as a professional engineer in the State of Texas and Louisiana. He is married to his college sweetheart, Veronica, and they have two children, Sophie and Evan.
